My Daughter Overcame Addiction

My daughter arrived to her first rehab a scared 22 year-old girl. She had been convinced by us to go into therapy and he or she actually wasn’t convinced that it was the suitable factor to do. She didn’t really feel that she had hit rock bottom however after a failed suicide attempt and a severe habit to pain killers and heroin she actually didn’t know tips on how to make it on her own. Her heroin addiction was so unhealthy that she began taking pictures it in her ankles and neck.

In the course of the course of her drug and alcohol treatment she had ups and downs. Things about herself and her life that she didn’t want to face and had even talked herself into believing they by no means happened. However she confronted them and she or he dealt with her points and her problems.

After going via and completing a full long term residential remedy program she felt empowered. There have been particular factors where she wished to depart and didn’t want to do it anymore, but with the assistance of her associates and her family she persevered. Upon completion of the program she knew that she might handle any of life’s issues and would by no means resort to medicine or alcohol again. She was proud of herself and he or she was able to face the world.

three years later I'm proud to call Emily my daughter. She is clear and sober and pleased and most importantly I have my daughter back.
